ACORN is a community union, we use our strength in numbers to take collective action on the issues that matter to us the most. We are running a lively training session that will tell you everything you need to know about ACORN as well as cover the skills and resources we use to run successful campaigns.

The session will run from 10am-4pm which includes an hour to break for lunch. Children are welcome as we’ll have some fun workshops for them to get involved with.

The current crisis has shown us that we are stronger together but many issues in our community aren’t going to go away unless we work together to change them. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to learn how to win the changes our community deserves!

This training session is open to anyone who would be interested in learning more about community organising and running campaigns. It is open to members and non-members but priority will be given to people in Lockleaze.

The Old Library has a capacity of 50 but to allow enough space for social distancing we are keeping it to 30. Registering for the event in advance is essential.
