This training aims to give ACORN members the skills to have effective negotiations with targets (e.g. landlords, letting agents). It will be particularly useful for member defence campaigns, where there are often opportunities to negotiate with targets directly and come to an agreement that works in favour of our members.

The training will cover when we should enter a negotiation, what makes a good negotiation, how to plan one, and some practice in how to negotiate in different scenarios.

All members are welcome and no previous experience is necessary, but the training will be particularly useful for members who want to participate in member defence campaigns. 

In line with COVID-19 safety guidance, the training will be held in a large well-ventilated room with enough space for social distancing. Please RSVP to this event so that we can keep track of numbers.
