Join ACORN Nottingham for a short Women in Organising training this month - Wednesday 14th June, 6-8pm at the YMCA International Community Centre.

Women are the most impacted by the issues we campaign on in ACORN - more likely to be on lower incomes, on benefits, and to rely on public services.

That's why whether we're fighting for better housing, for community centres to stay open, or better public safety, we need our women members to be at the forefront of our union.

In this short session we'll be discussing the challenges that women face in organising and how to overcome them, and strategies for developing our women members into the strong leaders we need to take back what's ours!

This training has been planned with women members in mind, but members of any gender are welcome to come. No experience is necessary, and new members are encouraged to come.

The training starts at 6pm but there will be tea, coffee and snacks at the venue from 5:30pm, so if you would like to come early and meet other members before the session please do!
