ACORN Stoke & Newcastle under Lyme are running the first in a series of trainings in Member Defence. Member Defence is a cornerstone of ACORN's model; from taking direct action against dodgy landlords, to fighting anyone that damages our members interests and put them in a bad housing situation.
If we want to win repairs, stop evictions, prevent homelessness, and build power in our communities, ACORN members need to be trained and prepared to fight back.
We will be going over the aims & principles of Member Defence, fundamentals of strategy, and some of the tools we use to win.
