Join us for our next Members Meeting on Tuesday June 27 from 7pm to 8.30pm at our usual venue, Pelican Plus Hall (Pelican Estate, London SE15 5NF).We’ll be providing an update on our ongoing member defence case and discussing what next steps could look like to make sure that our member is rehoused in a safe and secure home.

There will also be a chance to discuss recent outreach, including the stall we held at Peckham Arches, as we get closer to 100 members and branch status! As a reminder, an ACORN ‘branch’ is a formal unit of the organisation, and can participate in national decision-making and campaigns through their elected representatives on the Regional Strategy Group. Branches also have quarterly branch budgets managed by a Treasurer, which we hope to elect to our committee in our AGM in July.

We’ll also be planning a range of new opportunities for outreach, so if you’d like to get involved with a stall or leafletting, come along and let us know!We’ll be holding a sign and banner making session at this meeting so all members are very welcome to bring art supplies with them if they’d like to get involved.
