Whether you’re a long-term ACORN member or just signed up, this is a great opportunity find out how to build power in your community. There's a new government, but the fight is not over.
We need to hold this government accountable to the needs of working-class people whom they have been put there to serve.
From housing to transport, health to education, ACORN organises to defend and strengthen our communities, and collectively to find solutions to the problems facing our neighbourhoods, towns, cities, countries and planet.
This North Manchester training will be an introduction to how we do just that. We'll cover:
• Introduction to ACORN’s model
• Key principles of organising
• What makes a good campaign
• How to plan a campaign
• How to plan an action
This event is open to members and non-members who are interested in getting involved, so bring friends who are ready to join the fight!
Childcare will be provided. All childminders have been DBS checked.
See you all there!
