Join us for an introduction to Community Organising in Islington!

ACORN the Union has been organising neighbourhoods, street for street and block for block across the world for decades. We've packed some key skills and strategies into this introductory training to get you started organising, around the issues that matter to our communities.

We know this works, because we 've used these skills to build a mass membership organisation in the UK, which was won countless campaigns and cases for our members. We've won millions in fire safety for tower blocks, brought buses back into public control, secured millions in council tax reductions for low income people - all by organising normal working class people to stand up and fight back.

We've used our collective power to stop countless evictions and force landlords to reduce rent and do repairs from Brighton to Glasgow. Now we're building that power in Islington.
