Councillors want our votes, so let's make sure they commit to deliver what we need!

We've just heard councillors from the two biggest parties - Labour & Green - have backed our 2019-2020 campaign demand for public control of buses. Another win for our union!

Our members have written up pledges we want councillors to commit to before the upcoming elections covering housing, benefits, school meals, and youth services.

Now it's time to push our local councillor candidates to commit to them! 

After this meeting we'll have two weeks before elections - so it's the last sprint. You can get involved in teams of members meeting the candidates, doing outreach to get more of your local community behind us, and even from home.
