The founder of the ACORN movement - Wade Rathke - is coming to Bradford. Wade started ACORN USA in 1970. At its peak, the legendary community organisation boasted 500,000 members. We will be watching the 'The Organiser', a documentary telling the story of how ACORN USA took on the establishment in America and won and how the establishment fought back. We will then have the opportunity to chat with Wade himself.
After the film, we will have a social nearby. This will be great chance to meet other members of ACORN Bradford.
