Since starting our Boot the Bailiffs campaign in October 2024, we've won:
- 7 single mums defended from bailiffs including £1000s of pounds in dodgy fees cancelled
- Able Enforcements cut off from council funds
- Bristol Quality Bailiffs closed up shop in Bristol
- Green leaders of Bristol council to respond within weeks about stopping use of bailiffs for debt collection
We need to plan next steps! All members welcome, come to help us plan how to get more Bristolians involved in the campaign, defend our members from bully bailiffs, and push the council to stamp out these dodgy practices in our city..
