What to expect:

We’ll be running through why and how ACORN defends our members. You’ll learn about how to decide which are good cases for campaigning, how to use the strategy chart and campaign timeline to plan and run a winning campaign, and how to take action. We’ll be running through effective tactics and coming up with ideas of our own. Then, we’ll look in depth at our opening tactic for campaigns, a march on the landlord. We’ll talk about the roles you’ll need on the day and run through some role plays to give you the confidence to take on these roles in active campaigns. We'll then finish up with a run through of active campaigns that YOU can get involved in.
