Everyone is invited to come to the ACORN Oxford launch on Saturday 19th August!
The cost of living crisis is punishing ordinary people the hardest in our city, with families pushed further into debt and unable to put food on the table, and renters forced to live in awful housing or priced out of the city altogether.
But ACORN is fighting back - across the country and here in Oxford. Now is the perfect time to get involved to win power back for your community.
On Saturday ACORN Oxford is officially launching as a branch, and this launch meeting will see ACORN members laying the groundwork to build a fighting community union in the months ahead.
This all-day in-person meeting will include:
An introduction to ACORN
Practical trainings on campaign and action planning
Electing a committee to lead the branch
Making plans to build a fighting union in the months ahead
This meeting is open to members and non-members - so bring your friends and family too!
You can contact the Oxford branch organiser Naomi on the details below with any further questions.
See you on Saturday 19th!
