All members of our Brighton branch are invited to our monthly Members' Meeting for September, which will be held in the Hanover Room at the Brighthelm Centre from 7-9PM on Thursday 22nd September.
We will be using this meeting to plan the next steps of our branch campaign to get the Green Council to finally fulfil their promises to improve renting in Brighton and Hove. After almost two years of broken promises and backtracks we're demanding that the Leader of the Council takes urgent action to tackle rogue landlords, implement landlord licensing and protect victims of housing discrimination. Join us to help us win for our members and Brighton's renters!
We will also hear updates about what has been happening in the branch and how to get involved in the month ahead, including our trade union solidarity actions and the Enough is Enough campaign. This meeting will be a great way to get involved in your union and help make Brighton a fairer place to live and rent.
Please RSVP to this event to help the organisers plan it.
See you on the 22nd!
